Privacy policy

We hereby issue this notice pursuant to art. 13 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereafter, “GDPR”) concerning the protection of individuals and the processing of their personal data.

Purposes and legal bases of processing

Your Personal Data are processed by ACELLUM S.R.L. for purposes related to or instrumental in recruiting candidates, namely:

  1. Signing up through the reserved area, in which you can register and submit your CV, as well as update, modify or delete it. You will be sent credentials to be kept for this purpose.
  2. Pursuing and recruiting personnel, with the support of paper-based, computer or telematic means suitable for ensuring that data processing remains secure and confidential.

Processing, which is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures adopted at your request, is based on principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and the protection of your privacy and rights; your consent is only required if you disclose personal information belonging to special categories (e.g. that you belong to a protected group or are a member of a trade union).

Depending on the purpose for which we process your data from time to time, as explained below, we need to process one or other data, which will in general be, depending on each case, as follows:

  • your identity data (for example, your name, surname, image, language and country from which you interact with us, contact data etc.);
  • economic and transactions information (for example, your payment or card data, information on your purchases, orders, returns etc.);
  • connection, geolocation and/or browsing data (for example, the location data, the device identification number or the advertising ID etc.);
  • commercial information (for example, if you have subscribed to our newsletter);
  • information about your tastes and preferences.

We collect and process your data when you interact with the Company through the Site, i.e. the information you provide us by filling in the contact form on the Site.

The personal data that we collect through the contact form and further process are: [name] [first name] [email address] [contact telephone number] and a range of optional personal data to facilitate the provision of services or delivery of products: [company] [postal address] [calendar dates] [city/location].

In order to respond to the requests or inquiries you make through the Customer Service channels, we inform you that we process only the personal data strictly necessary to handle or resolve your request or inquiry. If you contact us by telephone, your call can be recorded for quality enhancement purposes and to enable us to respond to your request.

We believe we have a legitimate interest in responding to your requests or questions through the different ways we can contact you.

We understand that the processing of this data is also for your benefit, as it allows us to be able to help you appropriately and answer your questions.

When you contact us, in particular for the management of incidents related to your order or the product/service purchased through the Platform, the processing of your data is necessary for the performance of the contract of sale-purchase.

If you access our Platform, we inform you that we will treat your browsing data for analytic and statistic purposes, i.e., to understand the manner in which users interact with our Platform and with the actions we implement on other websites and apps, so we can improve our services.

We offer you the possibility to apply quickly and easily online via our website for advertised vacancies (https://acellum.ro/cariere/). In order to process your application, we ask for certain mandatory data. Required fields are marked with a star (*). These data belong to the categories of personal identification, address and application data. If you do not provide us with the mandatory data, unfortunately you cannot apply for Acellum S.R.L. If you only provide us with the mandatory data and in addition make other declarations, this does not lead to disadvantages in the application procedure. We use your data exclusively for processing your application. The processing of personal data takes place on the basis of your consent respectively for the decision on the motivation of an employment relationship (Art. 6 I 1 a) and b), 88 I EU Data Protection Regulation). The data contained allows us to assess candidates and to contact them. The data entered and submitted by you can only be viewed by our competent employees in our personnel departments and by those employees and specialist departments and representatives as appropriate of the participating committees (board of directors, representative of severely disabled persons), who participate in the filling of the position concerned.

Data retention period

Your personal data will be used for the recruitment process and will be retained for a maximum period of 24 months. After said retention period expires, your data will be destroyed or made anonymous.

Nature of the provision of data and consequences of refusal

The provision of data is necessary in order to fulfil the above-mentioned purposes, as without it our company would be unable to evaluate your profile.

Categories of recipients

For the purposes detailed above, any data collected and processed may be disclosed to internal staff authorised to process them within scope of their duties, as well as to the following external entities:

  • any companies or third parties involved in recruiting personnel;
  • professionals or service companies working on behalf of our company, particularly the company that hosts and provides the web platform, through a cloud-based service, which enables ACELLUM S.R.L. to process data and store CVs.

Should they process data on behalf of our Company, these recipients will be designated as data processors by contract or via another legal agreement.

Transfer of data to a third country and/or an international organisation

Your personal data will not be transferred to any Third Country outside the EU.

Rights of Interested Parties

You have the right (see articles 15-22 of the GDPR) to ask our Company to access your personal data and to have them rectified if inaccurate, to have them deleted or processing limited if conditions are met, or to object to their processing for the legitimate interests pursued by our Company. You also have the right to the portability of the data you provide if they are processed by automated means either on the basis of consent or for the performance of the contract.

You have the right to withdraw consent for the purposes of processing which may require it, without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing carried out until such withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (The Romanian Data Protection Authority).
